Hello all!
As the final preparation for the first hurling / camogie tournament of the European Championship season, Zürich Inneoin GAA Club will be holding two challenge matches (one for Camogie, one for Hurling) on Sunday 1st May at Saalsporthalle.
This is the last full training session for the club before we travel to The Hague on 7th May, so the matches will be played under conditions that are as close to "true" tournament play as possible.
Camogie will throw in at 11am (4 quarters of 10 minutes with 5 min breaks) (likely to be ~ 5-a-side)
Hurling will aim to throw in at 12.00 (4 quarters of 15 min with 5 min breaks) (likely to be ~ 11-a-side)
Any spectators, or those who might want to join the club, are more than welcome to come down and have a look, but please bear in mind that this is a training session so there won't be any seating, refreshments etc - if you want drinks, snacks, deckchairs, blankets or suncream then I'm afraid you'll have to bring your own.
After the matches, we'll be heading in to town (most likely to club sponsor Paddy Reilly's) for some "post match recovery".
